VocaLive offers singers and vocalists a comprehensive set of 12 real-time professional vocal effects, complemented by various tools to support practice, singing, and recording endeavors. These effects can be combined into a chain of up to 4 processors and saved as presets, with an initial set of 55 presets provided for immediate use.

VocaLive CS for iPad includes the Reverb effect, and upon registration, the Double effect is unlocked. Users can further enhance their experience by adding 10 additional effects individually from a diverse selection that includes tools like Pitch Fix, Choir, Morph, De-Esser, Delay, and more. The combination of these effects allows for extensive creative processing capabilities.

With VocaLive, users can manipulate their voice, sing along to tracks in their iTunes Music library - courtesy of the Voice Cancel feature that eliminates existing vocals - and engage in vocal warm-ups using helpful tools included in the app.

The addition of a new 2-track recorder enables users to sing over backing tracks or opt for expanding the studio functionality (available through in-app purchase) to record complete songs. Furthermore, with the optional Mic Room feature, VocaLive grants access to 20 classic and modern studio microphone emulations for precise control over vocal tones.

For live performances, VocaLive introduces Live Mode, which features an optimized interface tailored specifically for live use. The option of incorporating a 4-track looper facilitates on-the-fly creation of songs and harmonies.

High-quality performance with VocaLive is best achieved when paired with IK’s iRig Mic range of microphones or third-party mics through iRig Pre interfaces. However, creativity knows no bounds as users can record quick ideas using the built-in microphone on their iPad or earbuds.

Effortless control over the virtual rig is made possible through integration with iRig Stomp I/O or iRig Blueboard for wireless control on the go. Compatibility with Core Audio, Core MIDI, Audiobus, and Inter-App Audio ensures seamless integration with various recording and songwriting apps.
